Responsibilities


Brand Strategy & Management 


  • Define and evolve Wizz Air’s brand strategy aligned with the company’s vision, mission, and commercial priorities. 
  • Develop, maintain, and safeguard brand guidelines across the organization, ensuring consistent application throughout the full customer journey and all communication channels. 
  • Lead brand delivery across touchpoints including booking, airport environments, onboard services, digital assets, and post-flight communication. 
  • Ensure customer-facing communication reflects Wizz Air’s personality, value proposition, and service principles. 
  • Embed customer insights and research into brand strategy and communication planning. 


Marketing Strategy & Execution 


  • Develop annual marketing strategies, calendars, and budgets for existing and new markets. 
  • Oversee the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns to support demand generation, brand awareness, and commercial performance. 
  • Manage media, creative, and production agencies across the Wizz Air network, ensuring high-quality output and cost efficiency. 
  • Optimize local market campaigns and messaging to reflect cultural, competitive, and customer-specific needs. 
  • Engage external partners—airports, tourism boards, and other stakeholders—to secure and effectively deploy joint marketing funds. 
  • Ensure all marketing activities are data-driven, measurable, and aligned with commercial performance indicators. 


Customer Insights & Communication Quality 


  • Ensure relevant customer insights, research, and data are collected and used to improve marketing relevance and effectiveness. 
  • Oversee development of clear, engaging, and consistent content across digital and offline channels. 
  • Enhance overall customer experience by ensuring communication is intuitive, timely, and aligned with the end-to-end customer journey. 


Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration 


  • Lead, develop, and inspire the brand & marketing team to deliver efficient, creative, and high-performing execution. 
  • Allocate responsibilities to ensure effective regional and local execution. 
  • Collaborate closely with the broader Commercial team, Digital, and Operations teams to ensure integrated planning and delivery. 
  • Control and optimize costs related to brand, media, advertising, research, and creative production. 
  • Build a high-performing marketing organization capable of supporting Wizz Air’s growth and commercial objectives. 


Experience


  • Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing and communications, ideally in customer-focused, high-volume, or regulated industries such as aviation, travel, retail, e-commerce, or FMCG. 
  • At least 3 years of senior-level experience in marketing strategy, brand leadership, and communication management. 
  • Proven experience managing complex campaigns, cross-functional projects, and multi-country operations. 
  • Demonstrated track record of leading international teams and managing external agencies. 


Hard skills


  • Strong digital marketing capabilities and understanding of multi-channel communication. 
  • Proficiency in leveraging customer insights, research, and performance data for strategic decision-making. 
  • Experience developing creative platforms and communication frameworks for large-scale brands. 
  • Strong understanding of brand building, customer communication, and campaign performance. 


Education


  • Completed university or college degree


Language


  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
